Getting around Decatur
Downtown streets around the Square are tight and parking is metered, so we plan where the truck goes ahead of time. Big trips usually use US-78 (Ponce de Leon/Scott Blvd), US-278 (College Ave), I-285 on the east side, or I-20 to the south. Agnes Scott and Emory area traffic picks up when semesters start.
Buildings, HOAs, and move-day tips
Many older Decatur homes have narrow driveways, steep front steps, and tight staircases, so we measure large pieces first and take legs and frames off. Downtown mid-rises usually need an elevator reservation and a set move window.
