Route to and from Atlanta
I-75 south from Atlanta is about 85 miles, roughly 1.5 hours, but slowdowns around McDonough and the I-75/I-475 split are common. I-16 starts in Macon toward Savannah, and I-475 bypasses downtown on the west.
