Route to and from Atlanta
It's a straight shot east on I-20, about 145 miles or roughly 2.5 hours. I-520 (Bobby Jones Expressway) loops the city. Washington Rd traffic gets very heavy during Masters week in April.
Buildings, HOAs, and move-day tips
Book early if your move falls during Masters week, when traffic and lodging are tight. Military households moving near Fort Gordon often have set report dates, so tell us yours. We only handle the Georgia side; we don't move across the river into South Carolina.
